Hardcover, lacking dust jacket. 138 pp. Touching children's story about Patrick, a boy with polio, befriended by a dachshund puppy and a jay-bird with a broken wing. Color frontis, black and white drawings. Sawyer was Newberry medalist (1937). Book is unmarked and gently worn. Lovely ex-libris book plate on inside front cover.
