As described by Barbara Farnsworth

Creating French Culture: Treasures from the Bibliothèque Nationale de France , edited by Marie-Helène Tesnière. New Haven: Yale University Press, 1995. First edition, 480 pages, with an introduction by Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie and hundreds of color illustrations showing some of France's greatest treasures housed in their national library. A very fine copy, as new in wrappers.

About the Seller

Barbara Farnsworth
Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
