First edition, 480 pages, with an introduction by Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie and hundreds of color illustrations showing some of France's greatest treasures housed in their national library. A very fine copy, as new in wrappers.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
