Painting air brushed on velvet paper depicting yellow cattleya orchids by Frank Oda (American, 1924 - 2001). Signed "Frank Y. Oda," lower right. Displayed in its original bamboo frame under glass. In 1946 Oda, a well known artist and illustrator, began Hawaii Glass Arts. He produced airbrushed Hawaiian and floral themed paintings on art board and velvet. Arts Hawaii became the largest airbrush painting studio in Hawaii with many of his works in private collections worldwide.
