As described by
Good Taste Costs No More by Richard Gump. Garden City: Doubleday, 1951. First edition, 185 pages, illustrated with over 200 black and white photographs and drawings that complement six sections of sane, readable, do-able advice from the man who, at that time, was the head of Gump's in San Francisco. A fine copy in boards and a mildly soiled dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
