Why We Love This

Sunday After the War by Henry Miller. Norfolk, CT: New Directions, 1944. Presumed second edition, first printing. The first edition, (also 1944) was limited to 2,000 copies. This resembles the first internally, but has a different jacket and binding, perhaps issued at the time of the paperback printing. A collection of stories and essays, including two "works in progress", America, The Air Conditioned Nightmare and The Rosy Crucifixion. Jacket stained on back.
