19th-Century Grand Tour ormolu and glass trinket box with velvet silk interior. Depicted on the lid is the lovely Monument de la Victore in the town of Verdun, France. These scenic trinket jewelry boxes were collected by wealthy tourists traveling throughout Europe during the late 1800s. No maker's mark.
