As described by L'Affichiste Vintage Posters

Two lithographs from Croquis de Cavalerie, printed in Paris by Firmin Didot in 1893. Each sheet is signed in the stone by L. Vallet who, prior to becoming an artist, was himself a member of the French cavalry. Sheets, 10"W x 13"H. One plate is an officer of the German Reiter Guard, the other an officer of the Hussards. Both signed in the stone.
