18th-century Massachusetts candle table attributed to the shop of Joseph Short, circa 1770-85. Short was a prolific cabinetmaker in the late-1700s in Newburyport, MA. The table features an oval top, a finely shaped shaft, and three cabriole legs terminating in the typical "knopped" feet associated with Short. A fine estate condition antique table. Top up, 39"H.
