As described by Lost Art Salon

Oil painting titled Sunbathers, Martha's Vineyard by Chicago artist David Landis (1918-1983) a professor at the Art Institute of Chicago who had numerous exhibitions in the Midwest and East. His gallery exhibits included the June Holmes Gallery, Frank Ryan Gallery, Old Town Art Center, Cliff Dwellers, and Depaul University Gallery. Displayed in a restored driftwood frame with a white fillet. Signed on verso with hanging hardware.
