As described by
Feininger on Photography by Andreas Feininger. Chicago: Ziff-Davis, 1949. First Edition. 409 pages. Hundreds of black-and-white photographs, plus a few in color. Much of the book focuses on the techniques of fine photography, for which Feininger was famous, but the illustrations include many of his striking photographs of New York. A very good copy in cream leatherette, lacking dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
