Why We Love This

Niloak was created in Benton, AR from 1909 until 1946 by the Eagle Pottery Co. The name “Niloak” is the word “kaolin” (a type of fine-grade clay found locally) spelled backward. This trio of vases is finished in H. S. Lewis's glaze Ozark Dawn II. "Winged Victory" vase designed by Joe Alley produced between 1940-'45, 7"H. Smaller fan-shaped vase, 6"H x 5"Dia. Double-handled bowl, circa 1935, 3.5"H x 5"Dia. All three are bottom marked "Niloak."
