Why We Love This

Early to mid 20th-century woodblock on paper of primitive figures and dog by Jennings Tofel (1891-1959). Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz helped Tofel receive an art grant that allowed him to live and work in Paris in the 1920s. His work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Unframed. Signed lower right. Standard size archival mat.
