As described by Lost Art Salon

1952 casein and oil pastel by noted expressionist West Coast artist Byron Randall (1918–1999). In 1939, Newsweek called Randall "the find of the season." He was married to Emmy Lou Packard, assistant to Diego Rivera. His work is in the Phillips Collection, the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the Oakland Museum of California. Signed lower right. Unframed. Standard size archival mat.
