Why We Love This

Collection of red decorative books by Ogden Nash. Boston: Little Brown, 1940s and 1950s. Books also have paper dust jackets, that can be seen in the last two pictures, that feature the art work of Maurice Sendak of Where the Wild Things Are fame.

About DecadesofVintage

I love old books. I like to read them, to look at them, to decorate with them, and to use them for the perfect present (the ultimate form of recycling). I have been arranging my book shelves by color for quite a while and after helping friends and clients do the same, and seeing the growing trend, I decided to sell decorative book collections, thus DecadesofVintage. For me, decorating with books is like painting a picture or telling a story.
