Why We Love This

A beautiful early-20th-C. French semanier or seven-drawer lingerie chest created in the transitional Louis XV-style. The chest is beautifully detailed with floral and chevron inlay in addition to brass appliqu├ęs and sabots. The semanier featuring a drawer for each day of the week was a common feature of traditional French bedrooms. The inlay is intact; key is not available.
