French folk costume pochoir (multiple layers of vivid color hand-applied via stencil to a lithograph). Displayed in a hard stock mat with descriptive letterpress text at foot of plate. Plate from the book Les Costumes Regionaux De France (Regional Costumes of France), published by G. de Gardilanne and E. W. Moffat, circa 1930. Image measures 9.5”L x 15”W.
