Why We Love This

Large eight-sided Chinese robe box, made of black lacquer and decorated with traditional stylized bats, clouds and banana leaves painted in red and gold. The box's recessed top is inset with detailed boxwood carvings of five foo dogs playing with a large ball and trailing ribbons.
