As described by
Male/Female by William Steig. New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1971. First Edition. Unpaginated, with about 160 pages of Steig's black-and-white drawings of the ongoing war between the sexes. Inscribed to a female friend and signed "love, Bill" on the half-title page. A very good copy in tan boards and a mildly worn dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
