As described by Coppermill Kitchen

A large and heavy pink copper roaster with an extra-thick rolled rim and heavy drop ring swing handles held by hand-cut copper flanges and rivets. Dovetailed seams up one side and around the entire bottom. These seams were considered to be a highly skilled and expensive method. Brazed together with brass. Has been re-tinned for use. Made around 1880.
