As described by Phyllis Lucas Gallery/Old Print Center

A picturesque Sunday afternoon scene set in the famous Paris park Bois de Boulogne, depicting the Parisian middle class in their Sunday best picnicking, strolling, fishing, and enjoying other leisurely activities. An example of French chromolithography in its heyday, it's part of a series called Paris et ses Environs (Paris and its Suburbs).
