Gorgeous four-panel wall screen with hand-painted birds and bamboo on squares of gold-leaf paper trimmed in silk along the frame, painted in the Japanese method of kacho-ga, the art form of natural elements and negative space. Displayed in a black painted wood frame with handsome brass hardware accents, two hangers on verso. Unfolded, 71"L x .75"W x 36"H; folded, 18"L x 3"W x 36"H.
