Why We Love This

One of the first maps of the Louisiana Purchase by Reinecke, 1804. Very important hand-colored engraving. Shows early United States, Louisiana Purchase, Spanish America, many Native American tribes, and the newly discovered coast of Alaska (by Capt James Cook). Color index top left. Displayed on a white mat with a gold border and fits a standard-size frame. Archival plastic sleeve and Certificate of Authenticity included. Artwork, 25"L x 21.5"H; mat, 30"L x 24"H.
