Why We Love This

1960s etching on paper depicting a NYC market scene by Brooklyn artist Richard Karwoski (1938-1993). Karwoski was inspired by the German Expressionism of the 1920s-30s. He studied with Richard Lindner at the Pratt Institute and in 1963 received a master's of art at Columbia University. His work is included in several museums and collections: the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the Pratt Institute and the Library of Congress. Unsigned, unframed. Shipped with standard-size archival mat.
