Part of a set of prints that depict iconic views of New York. The print shows the New York City skyline as viewed from Governor's Island. In the foreground, we see young soldiers training with defensive cannon fortifications while military vessels, commercial boats, and ferries fill the entrance to the East River. Published by Paris Etching Society and engraved in aquatint in 1938. Unframed.
