As described by Lost Art Salon

Midcentury ink on paper still life of a bamboo branch by Dutch-Californian expressionist Richard Van Wingerden (1893-1969). He worked on several WPA murals in San Francisco and was part of the Marin-Sonoma art scene. He studied with Thomas Hart Benton at the Art Students League in New York and with Benjamin Bufano and Spencer Macky at the Mary Hopkins Institute of San Francisco. Unframed. Estate stamp signed lower right. Shipped with standard size archival mat.
