Why We Love This

This painting by Dean Holland depicts a lovely field of red poppies, the symbol of summer in France. Signed lower right. Born in 1944, Holland has traveled to numerous countries and pays careful attention to the composition, natural colors, and light of his oil paintings. His works have been exhibited at the Oakland Museum's Collector's Gallery, Berkeley's Hillside Club and a variety of Bay Area galleries. Signed lower right. Displayed in a silver giltwood frame.
