In brown leather-covered boards with three raised bands on the spine, gilt text, gilt and red tool work on the spine and gilt and red decorations on the boards. Edges of the text block gilt, end sheets are silk. 228 pp. Introduction by James Michener. Hemingway's last great tribute to the bull ring and the matador's who fight in it. Initially, the title was serialized by Life magazine in 1960.
