Why We Love This

A vintage Hollywood-style sofa done up by the Madcap Cottage gents in a new gray-and-white hand-blocked paisley linen/cotton fabric paired with a pale pink floral cotton fabric seat cushion. A gorgeous silhouette. The sofa's graciously curved tufted back and low-slung frame make this an ideal piece to float in a room. The bench cushion is crafted from down-wrapped foam. Clips hold cushion in place. Fabric and cushions new. Seat: 21"W x 18"H.

About Madcap Cottage

"Imagine Nick and Nora Charles of The Thin Man film series-- martinis in hand, with Asta in tow--plunked down in the early 21st century. They would be our dream clients: sophisticated, witty, a bit irreverent, and dashing,” say John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon of NYC-based Madcap Cottage. Their design credo? “Banish the beige and the boring. Saturate your world in color-rich whimsy and sophistication. Most important, have fun with your home."
