Why We Love This

Ferahan rug with a herati pattern repeating down the center of the rug. The herati pattern, known as the "fish" design, incorporates two palm fronds placed in opposition with a dot (for the eye) at the base of each frond. The resulting motif resembles two fish chasing each other in a circle. Ferahan includes the area bordered by Jozan, Arak (Sultanabad), Kashan, and Qum in Iran.
