Why We Love This

Boys and Girls of Bookland by Nora Archibald Smith. Philadelphia: David McKay Co, 1923. Original stiff boards. Jessie Willcox Smith (illustrator). 100 pages with color frontispiece and 10 other color plates. Color paste on pictorial cover and brown lettering to spine and cover. Eleven stories of famous child characters in fiction. Some age darkening to pages, light edge wear. Dust jacket chipped at edges with tears and creases. A very good copy in a fair scarce jacket.
