The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, translated into English by Edward Fitzgerald. Mount Vernon, New York: The Peter Pauper Press. First edition, undated (circa 1950) and unpaginated (64 pages), with 101 quatrains and nine drawings printed in red by Paul McPharlin. A very good copy in star-printed boards and a slipcase.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
