St. Ives by Robert Louis Stevenson. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1897. 438 pp. First Edition. Original dark brown cloth decoratively stamped in green and gilt, lettered in gilt. Spine a little darkened, gilt bright, spine ends frayed. First edition with the printing error p. 316, line 13. The first 30 chapters are by Stevenson, the work being completed after his death by Arthur Quiller-Couch. Binding by Margaret Armstrong.
