Why We Love This

A substantial and period oil still-life of flowers shown informally arranged in an antique vase. Signed lower right "Bacosi" for Bacosi Manlio (Italian, 1921-1998) a listed artist and dated "1957." Inscribed on verso "Bacosi Manlio, Perugia, Italia. Fiori su Vaso Antico (1957)." (Flowers in an Antique Vase). Winner of the Valentine International Prize, Manlio exhibited widely and with success and was the recipient of numerous awards. Unframed.
