Why We Love This

Abbey Courtyard Tree by Rachel Newman, founder and 20-year editor-in-chief of Country Living magazine. Newman studied landscape painting in Tuscany for 15 years. She's also studied and shown at the Art Students League and the National Academy in New York. She's presently studying at the Grand Central Academy of Art. Depicting a solitary tree, this painting was created at a Tuscan abbey in 2003. Signed on back.
