About Cracked Vessel Vintage

Mary Feuer, founder of Cracked Vessel Vintage, left her career as a screenwriter and producer to join the ranks of the pickers. Nowadays she turns her eccentric eye on swaps, thrift stores, estate and yard sales, finding grace in things others pass by. “Old objects remind us there’s beauty in imperfection,” she says. Hence the shop’s name, inspired by a line in a Leonard Cohen song: “There is a crack in everything; that’s how the light gets in.”
