About Carrie's Couture

Carrie has a background in Art History and received her Master's in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Before starting her own business, she worked in NYC for a store selling antique and vintage fine and costume jewelry. While Carrie handles a variety of jewelry from different time periods and makers, she specializes in pieces by Napier, Monet and Trifari. Her favorite time period is the 1980s, when costume jewelry stopped imitating fine jewelry and became more creative.
