Why We Love This

In the Forest of Arden, by Hamilton Wright Mabie. New York: Dodd, Mead and Co, 1898. Green cloth with gilt lettering and cover illustration of an oak tree and acorns. Mild wear to head and heel of spine, slight rubbing to gilt on front boards. Each page is embellished with an elaborate border decoration by Will H. Low. Top edge gilt, deckled front edge. Former owner's bookplate.
