Why We Love This

Early-19th-century English oak library table with a beveled and twisted edge. The apron is wonderfully carved on all four sides with faces and the date, 1658 (likely to commemorate a special date for the person that commission this table. The piece is supported on gorgeous barley twist legs and cross stretchers, ending with bun feet.
