Why We Love This

Love Affair, by Ruth Kligman. New York: William Morrow Co, Inc., 1974. First Edition, First Printing. 220 pp. Dust jacket has crease on front flap. First printing, with Pollock's name misspelled on the title page as "Pollack." Ruth Kligman survived the car accident that killed painter Pollock. She was the nemesis of Lee Krasner, Pollock's wife, and got to know Pollock from his days in Greenwich Village, becoming Pollock's and later his rival Willem de Kooning's girlfriend.
