Why We Love This

Too Late the Phalarope, by Alan Paton. Charles Scribner's Sons, 1953. Book Club Edition. 276 pages. Cover design by George Maas, the great modernist illustrator and long time art director of Mercury Records. His highly geometric style often approaches the in-your-face graphic style of Jim Flora. Unclipped. Chip at the base of the spine, and minor scuffing. Very clean interior.
