Why We Love This

Margaret Ogilvy by her son J.M. Barrie. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1897. Hardcover. Portrait frontispiece in black and white. First American edition. 207 pp. Top page edges gilt, as well as decorative title on spine and cover. Corners slightly bent. Overall great condition. A scarce copy of Barrie's biography of his mother, published after her death. A remarkable insight into Barrie's emotional life. Barrie is most well known for Peter Pan.
