As described by Docantic, Inc.

This 1960 George Welker gouache is from a unique selection of original prototypes for textiles and wallpaper, made between 1892 and 1970. They come from a very well-known company in France that has since closed its doors. A large part of the same collection has already been distributed to some of the most famous museums in France, such as the Bibliothèque Forney and the Musée Des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. It has two labels attached; is stamped, numbered, and titled.
