    As described by Trowbridge

The 17th century in Holland was a golden age of gardening and botanical illustration. Abraham Munting illustrated the plants within "Groningen's Paradise,” a garden owned by the Academy of Groningen. Each image is presented in a gesso frame painted black with a gold cartouche in each corner made in the 17th-century Italian tradition. The antique-style conservation board matte is acid free to Fine Art Trade Guild standard. Each piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
