As described by Trowbridge

This original lithograph is from Urbain Dubois and Emile Bernard’s La Cuisine Classique, which was published in Paris in 1874. Dubois and Bernard were chefs to the King and Queen of Prussia. The exquisite illustrations are from menus prepared for state visits by European royalty and include a special menu arranged for President Buchanan of the United States. This hand-colored image is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
