As described by David Bell Antiques

American Modern 1925-1940: Design For a New Age, by J. Stewart Johnson. Published by Abrams, 2000. First edition. Published to coincide with an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York which spotlighted the period between 1925 and 1940 and the move away from Art Deco towards a more functional, purely American school of design. Hardcover with dust jacket, now protected with Mylar cover.
