Design in the Theatre, with commentary by George Sheringham and James Lever, together with literary contributions by E. Gordon Craig, Charles B Cochran and Nigel Playfair. Published by Albert Charles Boni in 1927 (NY/London). First edition. Costume, stage setting and scenery designs illustrated with 120 plates in color and photogravure. Bound in red patterned cloth with gilt cover lettering (also spine), top edges gilt. Very good plus copy. Elegant illustrations.
