Why We Love This

Pair by Rosalind Erskine, both first printings, publisher Simon and Schuster 1962-'64. The Passion Flower Hotel and Passion Flowers in Italy. These clever spoofs of adolescent exploration and upper-class morality are hilarious. Enterprising 15-yr-old British girls convert their boarding school into a bordello for the nearby boys' school, then continue their escapades at Contessa Santini's international finishing school for young ladies in Italy. Reminiscent of Patrick Dennis.
