Ladder-back chair with rush bottom seats. Blue and yellow ruffled cushion. Made by the famous Karpen Furniture Company in Chicago New York, founded in 1880. The Karpen Brothers were instrumental in the Prairie School and Arts Crafts movement in the first part of this century. Metal Karpen tag on underside.
