Classic novel combines detective mystery with New Orleans culinary backdrop. Many details about Creole cookery, Louisiana culture, celebration of Twelfth Night. Keyes' foreword says that while writing, she was well-nourished on Creole Gumbo and Crayfish Bisque. No jacket, dark blue cover, mild edgewear. Scarce in first edition.
