As described by art1

Large woodcut on rice paper by the master artist Antonio Frasconi. A simple juxtaposition of the calming sun and rough wind. His work can be found in MoMA, the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco and the Brooklyn Museum. As a young teen he was inspired by Paul Gaugin's woodcuts. Newly mounted in a handmade seamless black frame with extra wide matte. Signed "Frasconi 1950" in pencil, lower right. Image, 16.75"H x 12"W.
